Friday 30th January- Dance

We had an hour lesson today and used this time to re cap the movements we have previously learnt for the Grease dance we are performing a week today.

I benefited from today's lesson by recapping the movements, refreshing them in my mind. I worked on improving one part of the dance that uses hand eye co ordination and using extension when dancing. 

Below pictured is my costume choice for the dance. I am going to wear the neck scarf because they were common in the 1950s, with a black collard t-shirt and black swing skirt, to mirror the dress code  that appears in Grease the musical. As a class, we decided that everyone would wear converse in any colour. We chose these because they're comfortable to dance in, everyone will have similar footwear and converse have been around since 1917 therefore, they would have been a common style of footwear.
