Developing scene 5
In this lesson, we developed scene 5. My highlight was developing the part of the scene where we feed Milky-White the ingredients for the potion to be made and the spell to be reversed. In this lesson, this was the main part I was involved in. We staged it in a way in which the audience are unable to see around the side of Milky-White, allowing us to sneak the ingredients in to the cow's stomache. We then went outside and rehearsed this in the wood space to work out the legistics of pulling this off in an outdorr space where we will be performing. This turned out to be tricky because the outdoor space obviously has no real covered up and blocked out back stage therefore we had to really focus on how we were going to pull this off with out the audiences obviously seeing.We ended up using a black cover to hide the objects underneath to ensure this looked professional however having a comical approach to it also.
I think everyone worked really well today to improve on this scene and with a little more work, I think it has to potenital to be an effective scene.
